BIG JOE PDR (Power Drive Reach Trucks)The Big Joe Reach Truck is built using the same components used in large, rider-type equipment. This is what makes the PDR a heavy-duty life truck. Here are some examples of the kind of "extras" built into the construction of the PDR: The masts are fully-rollered, inter-locked Channel and I-Neam made of premium grade steel. The straddles are solid bars not hollow channels. All critical welds are oversized and continuous. The Class H insulated traction motor accommodates the peak power demands of a heavy-duty operation without compromising the motor's reliability and long services life. BIG JOE PDI (Power Drive Intermediate Straddle Trucks)Big Joe PDI Trucks are designed to solve the problem of someone who needs a power-driven truck that is economical to operate like its manually propelled counterpart. This power driven series offers speed and precise maneuvering at an affordable price. The PDI has a short turning radius and 24V power system which makes it excellent for small shops with narrow aisles, for street level loading, tool rooms, etc. Also available are adjustable straddles for the situations with changing requirements. The Power Driven Intermediate series has the solution to all kinds of intermediate handling problems. BIG JOE PDC/PDCM (Power Drive Counterbalanced Trucks)The Big Joe PDC/PDCM series represents the walkie life truck version of the sit-down rider lif-truck. They provide many of the same advantages at substantially less cost. Because of this, the counterbalanced walkie is often more cost effective when shorter duty-cycles are required. The counterbalanced walkie is used where quick entry and retrieval is required because you are not constrained by stradle alignment. For this same reason, the counterbalanced walkie is th e ideal choice when you must handle a variety of pallets, or have staging areas where space is critical. In addition, because of the very short chassis, the Big Joe PDC/PDCM series will turn in tighter areas than comparable trucks/ BIG JOE SSC (Stock Selector Counterbalanced)The versitle Stock Selector (SSC) trucks are engineered for efficient order-picking capabilities. They allow the operator to lift and lower himself while driving and steering the truck in an elevated position. They're also ideal for a variety of overhead maintenance applications. The SSC line represents Big Joe's commitment to providing the industry with quality-built, affordably priced stock selectors for every need. BIG JOE IBH (In-Between Handling Lift Trucks)The Big Joe IBH Series has been the industry standard since it was introduced in the 1950's. When the trend in the material handing is toward power driven equipment, there are many situations where a lift truck is necessary but power travel is not. The new or small business, where funds are limited and usage is not constant, does not require a heavy-duty power-driven lift truck. The IBH is excellent as a leveling work table on a production line, for use in narrow and tight warehouse space and as a loading/unloading device. The IBH capacities are conservatively rated so you don't have to buy more to get what you need and it is not necessary to have a special operator.
